A Mumbai Dude Was Charged A Whopping ₹150 Crore For Cab Ride.

There are good days. There are bad days. And then, there are days when you get charged ₹150 Crore for a cab ride.
That’s what happened with Mumbai-based design consultant Sushil Narsian on the 1st of April.

Considering the date, you’d obviously assume it to be a prank. However, this screenshot tells a different story.

 Sushil was planning to go from Mulund to Versova. According to Sushil, the cab driver wasn’t able to find his location. He, in turn, had to walk down to the driver’s location.

By the time Sushil reached, the driver had already cancelled the ride. When he tried to book another cab, Ola handed him a bill of ₹150 Crore.
Sushil wasn’t able to book another cab unless he cleared the outstanding amount of ₹150 crore. That is when he reached out to Ola support. A technical glitch was admitted by Ola and they also apologized for the inconvenience.


Finally Sushil Said:


◆◆Essentially Ola charged me 150Cr for walking from my home to the place where cab was parked! And 1 min interaction with the driver Of course it was a technical error. So not stuck on to it. Have used Ola after that incident.◆◆

Posters ask Rajinikanth to join politics.

Posters surface in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu asking actor Rajinikanth to join politics and float a party. The actor’s fans and supporters had in the past urged him to enter politics and float a political party, but the actor has been non-committal in this regard. In 1996, Rajinikanth had come out in the open against the then Jayalalithaa government and had backed the DMK-TMC combine which swept that year's Assembly polls. Earlier in the day, the actor asked fan club members from all districts to assemble in Chennai on April 2. The meeting comes just days after Rajinikanth's visit for Sri Lanka was blocked by Tamil politicians. Rajinikanth wrote to Sri Lankan tamils expressing gratitude to them saying that he was left with no words when he came to know about the love and support that people sent his way. He also said he would meet them at an appropriate time later.
